Went in on a Wednesday 6pm in late October, place was not full at all yet waitress was running and seemed kind of lost. Ordered our dinner and drinks (they do not serve wine or beer), meal took approximately 38min. My steak was on the well side and tough, when I had ordered a medium doneness. The seating is not the most comfortable (hard wooden chairs) and for the good points, well one point is the scenery which are the mountains and a lake. This is not a high end place it's more on the casual jeans and sneakers place - just as information. I would not recommend.
Good home cooking if not a traditional BBQ joint. They also have a good selection of other entres
The baked beans and corn on the cob were very good. Lots of spices in the beans (but no heat) with bits of meat in them. I gave mine a squirt of BBQ for that little extra kick.

Mark has always been a wonderful grillist and chemist as a cook in general. He took a barbecue sauce that he made as a young man and tweaked it to what he has today which is one of the best barbecue sauces is in the world bar none. Not to mention he's one of the best individuals that I have ever known. You couldn't find a better person or better restaurant.
Food is AMAZING!! Mr. Rickard is one of the nicest gentleman there is. I highly recommend eating here.
Deep rich smokey flavor. The meat comes to your table dry (no sauce) but the sauce is on the table (like ketsup) so you can add as much as ya want.
