I've been staying here off and on for 8 years plus when I passed through the area. Management has always treated me well and very friendly. Rooms have always been clean and my stay quiet . It's a budget hotel , great value. If you want to be greeted by management in a suit and tie go spend three times as much in Knoxville.
Our room looked NOTHING like the pictures posted. Im sure some of the rooms may have been better but ours was like something from a cheesy horror movie. Stains on the walls and a schotty electrical set up. The light switch worked everything in the room including the TV and said light switch gave a small zap when flipped. The bed was caved in the middle and the heating unit looked like a fire hazard. The bathroom was downright disgusting with moldy nasty tiles coming up and mold on the walls. The shower floor was soft and felt like you were going to fall through and the bathroom smelled when the water was running. Toilet was super close to wall. I couldn't wait for our stay to be over. This motel was lucky it was our last resort. Health department really should be contacted.
Worst value ever for what we paid! Smell: awful. Water tastes like chlorine. Stains on one of the beds. Scratchy towels. No shampoo. Walls stained considerably. Toilet was super close to wall so you had to sit at an angle. Cellophane wrapped breakfast. Old tube TV. The phone looked gross and sticky. You can hear the highway through the walls. Beds were comfortable and pillows were too.
The employees was wonderful. rooms were clean.
I've stayed here 4x on trips to Atlanta. For the (very low) price paid one should know its an older hotel without a lot of upgrades to the facilities. However the staff has always been friendly, I always had soap and clean bedding, I've checked in after midnight without a reservation and they were pleasant even at that hour. I use it as a quick stopover for 6 hours sleep and usually leave before breakfast starts. My free advice is if you are travelling by yourself or on a low budget then its ideal. If you are travelling with your family or your best girlfriend then you might want to stay in a higher price point.
