Had a great stay here last year. Stayed for a week and the staff was very helpful. The old cats are great and the lamas out back we're fun to watch.
Amenities were just fine. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was a little short with us when we arrived to check in and she did not have much patience for us tourists throughout our stay as we asked for restaurant recommendations and what not. The Continental breakfast was subpar... but if you're looking for a place to sleep and see an amazing sunset this is the spot. They've even got llamas and some historical artifacts!
One of the nicest motels we have stayed at. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Best complimentary breakfast we’ve ever gotten. Friendly staff. Pleanty of parking if your riding the trails. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.
This hotel was a great place to stay. Lovely room even has a fireplace! Located on the mountainside the view is gorgeous and peaceful. The staff is friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, but the dining room was clean and welcoming. There's not much near the hotel in terms of food or variety. But the room has a microwave and fridge.
Maybe it's just compared to the hotel hell I suffered in Indianapolis, but this hotel is basically heaven. The rooms are gorgeous, the views are gorgeous, everything is incredibly clean, the staff are nice and bonus some of them have adorable southern accents. There are llamas grazing on the hillside in front of the hotel and seeing the sunset from one of their swings in the parking lot is amazing. The only thing I'd warn anyone of is that the bathroom door lets a lot of sound through and doesn't close very well, so if it'd be awkward for whoever you're traveling with maybe ask if that's a problem in all of the rooms. Either way you shouldn't let it deter you much. Come here. It's amazing. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
