Very very nice place. Just updated. Rooms were very clean. Staff were great. Breakfast was delicious as always from HI Express. Easy access to highway. Parking lot was very bright so I felt my vehicle was safe.
We were passing through and decided to stop for the night. The evening staff was very welcoming and friendly and was more than helpful with getting the best rate possible. The room was very spacious and I especially liked the Bath and Body Works bath products. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet on the floor. The breakfast was also good and hot and well stocked. We will stay here again when passing through.
I am traveling with my husband this week with his job. He is working here in the area and we are spending the week here at the Holiday Inn Express in Caryville. We arrived earlier than check-in on Monday. The manager, Lori was AWESOME. Because of the eclipse that day, there were no rooms available or ready for early check-in. Lori recommended that I sit in the breakfast area until she had some rooms available. She notified me as soon as a room was available and got me settled right away. I appreciate her hospitality, professionalism and awesome smile. It had been a long day for me even if it was only 2pm. Thanks Lori and the Holiday Inn Express, Caryville for awesome service. Greatly appreciated!
Very nice for an older hotel that's been refurbished. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. They also have a breakfast for the first each morning.
Was working in the general area on business and stopped for the night. I was turned down for a room by Joyce who said I was a "local". I told her I was over a 100 miles from my home and she said she could not rent me a room. I'm even a member of their rewards program and that made no difference to Joyce as she was convinced I was a "local". She stated that locals like to come there and "party" and I told her I was 61 years old and didn't party - just needed a room to rest and sleep so I could go back to work the next day. She stated they had locals that were a 100 years old and came there to party. What a crock! I went down the street a short distance and Hampton Inn gladly rented me a room with no questions asked. Very unprofessional and was not able to speak to a manager through Joyce the next day either.
